Liz Summerfield currently resides in Western North Carolina with her husband, Scott Summerfield and their daughter, Roby. They are both full time artists working from their studios located at their home in Bakersville.
Liz received her M.F.A from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and her B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Liz has been a visiting artist/teacher at numerous institutions. She is a current member of the Southern Highlands Craft Guild and the Potters of the Roan.
She exhibits her work nationally through exhibitions, galleries, and fine craft shows.
