These pieces were designed in the winter of 2025 and were the first works that I created after Hurricane Helene. Each piece is one of a kind.

They are a complex design; imagine a pot within a pot. The inside bowl is pinched into a square, oval, or rectangle and encased by a pierced slab.

The handles and spoon rests are a place to add color and points of interest. Gold and pewter luster are applied to some cellars.

The pewter spoons are hand made (not by me) and accompany each cellar.

This butter dish features a combination of terra sigillata and underglaze brushed over abstracted floral slip-trailed drawings.  The outside includes waxy, velvety, and shiny surfaces, while the inside features a smooth food safe glaze. This butter dish functions as home décor or may be filled with butter and used on a daily basis.

Gold luster lines accent the surface.
